Post-Xmas blues
It seems like everyone in the world had an awesome Christmas this year. I spent mine waking up at 6:40 in the morning to go to work, eating turkey while my mom pouted and whined about wanting money so she could gamble, sleeping, downloading music, and writing. How completely lame.
It's kind of sad that even though I went crazy with the present buying for other people, I didn't get ANYTHING. Well, I got a few lame gifts from my fellow wage-monkeys (co-workers at the Gold Club desk), and my mom's boyfriend Dave gave me a book of movie reviews, but THAT WAS IT. Lousy fucking Christmas...
I bought my brother Tim a Mini-Bow 5-gallon aquarium. My sister got a bunch of anime, a box of Korean food, and a GameBoy game. I bought my dad a Chia Herb Garden and a $50 Barnes and Noble gift card. My mom got two baskets of bath stuff and lotions and a crystal bowl.
I bought myself Manic Panic's Vampire Red hair dye, Stephen Lynch's "Superhero" and "A Little Bit Special" CDs, some anime, and DSL for my computer. Fuck everyone else that didn't bother to get me nothing. This next payday (Thursday) is gonna be all about ME.
I'm gonna buy TiVo, some new clothes, a new DVD player (mine died ::sob::), a printer, some manga, some anime, and... whatever else I frickin' want.
