feygan: (Korean food)
Oh man, I just found http://www.kgrocer.com, an online store where you can buy Korean food. I put in my order, but looking at all that stuff has made me so HUNGRY. I can't wait for my stuff to get here.

Also, I just spent like $222+ at http://amazon.com where I bought my niece a bike and helmet, myself a bike (because I jacked this boy's bike and rode around on it and got all nostalgic for the days of my youth and wanted one for my own,) and a cheap ($38) MP3 player. Basically, my order was pretty cheap, but I ended up paying like $70 of shipping. I was so pissed.

I've been spending so much money this week. All that anime, the stuff from Amazon, and I bought $74 bucks worth of stuff from http://torrid.com.

I don't really need to buy plus-sized clothes, but I like the cute novelty shirts from http://www.hottopic.com, except tha baby-Tees don't really fit into my self image. Torrid offers larger sized shirts (normal store sizes) and I appreciate that.

Oh yeah, and I'm watching "It" right now. It's so cute with Seth Green as a little kid. He was so goofy looking...

Wow. That's all I gotta say. Wow.

I'm only half way through and I'm hopping around like a complete loon. It's frickin' awesome.

They so cannot end the series with this season, though I don't want them to bring it back like they did with Buffy's season seven, with which I was disappointed. (They could have done so much more with the last of Buffy, but they were in such a hurry and had so much to get in that it was a bit of a let down.)

But if they can have another season as good as this one's turning out... go for it, I say. I'll sign all the petitions and beg for more. Episodic wow.

Skimming through stuff, came across this:

VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 20-45.3, relating to the Affirmation of Marriage Act for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
[H 751]
Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 20-45.3 as follows:

§ 20-45.3. Civil unions between persons of same sex.

A civil union, partnership contract or other arrangement between persons of the same sex purporting to bestow the privileges or obligations of marriage is prohibited. Any such civil union, partnership contract or other arrangement entered into by persons of the same sex in another state or jurisdiction shall be void in all respects in Virginia and any contractual rights created thereby shall be void and unenforceable.

Well damn Virginia anyway.

Basically means: Virginia refuses to acknowledge gay marriages or even civil partnerships, even if you're just a tourist passing through. If you live in Virginia, you're gay, and you die, you can't even leave your shit to your partner. It all goes straight to your family. And if you've adopted a child with your partner, and you're the secondary parent... you're pretty much screwed. You can't even do anything if the kid gets hurt and needs to go to the hospital, because your parental rights won't be recognized by the state.
