All right, I am currently looking for a story, and I'm not sure if it's fanfic or an actual book. Basically, it's a kind of sword and sorcery story, but with a definite "Evil Overlord List" cast to it. The Evil Sorceress ruling the kingdom of whatever and there's a hero that's not exactly super bright, but not a complete dim bulb either (had to continue with the lightbulb reference.) Anyways, the hero busts into the throne room to kill the Evil Sorceress/Queen, but she just kills him. She also has her autobiographer on standby, watching everything. The biography guy thinks she's totally evil at first, but by the end he realizes that she has a reason for everything she does and becomes sympathetic... too sympathetic. The Evil Queen has to kill him because she knows he would portray her in such a way that she would seem weak to her enemies.

Does anyone know the story and where I can find it? I'm leaning more towards it being an actual book... she's taking over the neighboring kingdom? She has loads of henchmen but is willing to do her own dirty work if need be? Anyone?
