Currently watching "Kingdom of Heaven" and so far... all I can say is "Holy crap!"
I wish I had watched this in the theaters, because it must have been truly epic on the big screen.
And Orlando Bloom... very pretty.
EDIT: I don't care what anyone says. I love this movie and I'm incredibly glad I bought it. Sweeping scenery, awesome battle scenes, pretty Orlando, and a great story. If this had been fiction based I would have maybe wanted the ending a little different, but as it (kind of, sort of) has to follow what happened in history (the general vicinity of history anyway, and totally discounting the whole Syballa, Barisan, etc stuff) it was perfect. And if you like Kingdom of Heaven, you should read Judith Tarr's "Alamut," though it features "fair folk"/elves, but is really deeply into the history. (She also has "The Hound and the Falcon," "Avaryan Rising," "Avaryan Resplendent," "Pride of Kings," "Kingdom of the Grail," and "The Dagger and the Cross," as well as her popular "Daughter of Lir," "House of War," "Queen of Swords," and "The White Mare's Daughter.")
