"Take Care"
I watched the movie "Take Care" starring Leslie Bibb and Thomas Sadoski on Netflix. It's about a woman, Franny (Leslie Bibb), that has just been released from the hospital after being struck by a car. She's got a broken left leg and a broken right arm and no one to take care of her.
It maybe felt a bit like a Lifetime movie, but there wasn't a whole lot of angst and misery. It's a woman that needs some help, and she turns to her ex-boyfriend--the man that she nursed through colon cancer for two years and who dumped her after he got well. She calls in a favor, and he feels like he owes her, so he comes to make her sandwiches and watch Law & Order with her.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend gets a bit jealous and clingy. And there's one scene where it looks like she painted her whole mouth with red crayon, like she was trying to make her lips appear bigger but she didn't bother to use lipliner to keep things contained so she ended up with The Closer level of muppet-mouth.
It was an all right lazy night at home movie. So if you're looking for something to watch, and you're not in the mood for action, adventure, swords or spaceships, you maybe could give this one a try. (I would not be offended if you called it a chick flick and threw it back in my face, because it kind of is. But whatever. I had fun.)
