I hate when YouTubers add a dozen non-related annotations to their videos. And not little ones on the bottom, but monstrosities that cover the whole screen. Why you gotta do that? Don't you love us anymore?

It's like they think to themselves, "What's the most obnoxious thing I can do while providing people with something they want to watch? I know!"

BAM! Covers the whole screen with linkspam.

Anyways, beware of SPOILERS, but here's the "Rurouni Kenshin vs Aoshi Full Fight" from the live-action movie. Click off the annotations if they pop up, because they're annoying as hell. Sorry it doesn't come with subtitles, but you probably don't need them just to watch the fight.

I have had "Kite" going on forever, but I have never felt the overwhelming need to watch it. And now I know why.

Story: opens with Sawa as an assassin, brutally killing her targets. Story unfolds to explain how she was orphaned, raped through most of her life, trained to be a merciless killer, and basically wrapped her whole life around her need to avenger her parents' murder. Sawa comes off in some scenes as almost mentally simple, while in others she has a feral kind of intelligence. I think the creators were trying to make her seem innocent, but I don't equate bald stupidity with intelligence, so... moon-eyed girls don't really give me a driving need to protect them. And her relationship with the male "protagonist" came off as fake, even for an anime.
Art Style: odd hair styles abound. Clear lined artwork, though Sawa has disproportionately large breasts (read: freakish).
Slash Factor: 1 out of 5.
Score: 2 out of 5
Watchability:1 out of 5. Gratuitous Violence!!! Definitely romanticised rape scene to appeal to the perverted boy-fans, though not as bad as in "Ninja Scrolls."
Will I Buy It: Already own it ::sigh::

If you've read the Bleach manga, some parts of the anime are pretty disappointing. The first few episodes leave something to be desired, but there's something oddly appealing about the artistic style used and there are signs that the series will *probably* get better, though I've only seen eps 1-10 so far. I've got more on my queue and it should only be a matter of time before I see if the series gets any better.

Story: Ichigo has phenomenal spiritual power and is tapped to be a shinigami (Death God). From the manga, it's obvious the characters are a little... odd, and that definitely carries over to the anime, though definitely not to a Fooley Cooley extreme.
Art Style: reminiscent of Saiyuki
Slash Factor: maybe a 1. Very Shonen-Jump, not Hane to Yume. Probably gets a higher slash rating for a possible f/f pairing.
Score: 3 out of 5
Watchability: 3 out of 5
Will I Buy It: Yes. I'm a fool for mental torture.
